What do you need to take for yourself and the baby?
MOMMY BAG
- cosmetics and toiletries, including liquid soap (bathing utensils such as sponges, flannels, pumice stones are not allowed during your stay in the Hospital)
- two towels (washed at home at 90°C)
- paper towels in a roll
- spare footwear, e.g.: house slippers
- shower slippers
- lip cream or lipstick
- still mineral water
- a shirt for your stay in the maternity ward - after the birth
- underwear (breastfeeding bra, mesh maternity pants (not fleece!) or loose cotton pants
- breast pump (if you have one)
- cutlery and a cup (if you prefer to have your own)
- don't bring a maternity shirt - patients receive a hospital shirt and dressing gown for delivery
FOR THE BABY:
- wet wipes
- your own clothes if you wish
- clothes for going home
FOR THE ACCOMPANYING PERSON:
- lightweight, comfortable clothes and comfortable flip-flops or shoes for change during your stay in the Delivery Room
- something to eat and drink - the delivery can take several hours!
- a 2 zloty coin to open a locker in the Maternity Ward (everyone has their own lockable locker where they can put anything they do not need at the time)
ALL OTHER ITEMS ARE PROVIDED BY THE HOSPITAL
